Here's something you know.

We all know that on the 20th July 1969, Neil Armstrong took the first steps on the moon.

But here's something you probably don't know.

You probably don't know that Motorola actually worked hand in hand with NASA to make sure that communication with Apollo 11 was possible.

You also probably don't know that aboard Apollo's lunar excursion module, was a Motorola transceiver sending radio signals to earth, where Motorola FM-band demodulators converted them for radio and TV broadcast.

You also probably don't know that Motorola and Paris Radio Electronics' have been working together in radio communication for well over 30 years.

Now you know.
